According to reports, Loomer encouraged President Trump to fire personnel she believed to be disloyal, such as Haugh and Noble, during the meeting.

Laura Loomer has been removed from a number of social media sites due to her divisive anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant opinions.

Citing Haugh's stellar 30-year military service, Democratic senators have voiced their deep worries about the dismissals.

President Trump minimized Loomer's impact by saying, "She makes recommendations... and sometimes I listen to those recommendations."
